Outside update from outside.

I'm in my backyard, sitting on a lawn chair, looking over my house, and watching the full moon rise. Minute by minute, you can actually track it. It's moving. It's full.

It's beautiful.

It is the very error of the moon,
She comes more near the earth than she was wont,
And makes men mad.

Scatterbrained.

 This post will be about....

Orion? Venus vs. Airplane. Self Discipline. Memory. Wind. Transcripts.

My favorite constellation is Orion. It's the first one I learned, and it's easy to find. I always look forward to the end of summer so that I can see it in the sky. I like reading about it, I like looking at it, I like finding out about the origins of the Orion character himself. This year I'm being frustrated though, because it'll be out when I get up for work, but I drive in the wrong direction to glance up at it. Still waiting for November when I'll finally be able to see it before I go to sleep at night. I know exactly where it'll be when it shows itself....

While looking at the area of the sky where Orion will inevitably rise, the other night there was an airplane travelling across the sky. It went pretty close to Venus, and the funny thing is.... Venus was shining brighter than the airplane was. That made me a little happy on the inside~

Self Discipline... sometimes I feel like my subconscious mind wasn't satisfied with my childhood. All I ever hear is "Ugh. Let's just find something that makes us happy and not worry about anything else until we're satisfied." But satisfying your subconscious isn't so easy. Tabby, John, Andrew, and Steven need to have a group meeting.

I feel like resolving the previous paragraph will also resolve my concentration, focus, and memory problems mostly.

Today while I was driving home from work, I realized I had two checked in my car the needed depositing. So I turn into the bank on my road, park close to the building, and begin my short walk to the ATM next to the door. Lo and behold, I notice I still have to take of the stub. As soon as I began the tearing process, WHOOSH HI I'M NATURE AND I'M THROWING SOME GUSTS AT YOU. It was heart wrenching, really. I caught the first one with a curb stomp, but the other flies off behind a shed, and I am temporarily eluded. Luckily the gust was just that, and there weren't any others before I managed to run behind the shed in hot pursuit of my fleeing paycheck. Hooray for me!

Last but not least: DeVry is the most uncooperative and unorganized..... "Organization" (and I use the term lightly) that I've ever been serviced by. Downloaded the transcript request form from the site, right? Mailed it and all that good stuff, right? Waiting. Called to see if they'd been received (negative) and after talking to both, determined that about a week for "processing" might be needed, nevermind that they initially said "Oh yea, we'll have this mailed out before the end of the day, don't worry!". A week later, nothing has been received. Next day, nothing. Called back to DeVry, they apparently have a hold on my account that they declined to mention before. Get this: They still think I'm attending their school and think that they're waiting for me to pay for my next semester. What this has to do with transcripts has me befuddled though. I'll be calling early next week (to allow for "processing") and I really hope another call to DeVry isn't required this time around. They should really stop hiring students to do their office work. Seriously though.

Eating loudly is loud.

Mom is eating a popsicle extremely loudly a few feet away from me. I've mentioned it to her. She continues smacking and slurping and disrupting my concentration. This bothers me to no end and I think if it continues, or god help me, if she gets another popsicle, I might die a little inside or just go to bed.

Nevermind, it's already bed time anyway. *Goes that way.*

Sweet sweet relief!

Where the deer and the antelope play.

So this week has been pretty interesting so far. I visited my newly-crippled friend. Because drinking and driving and taking turns too fast throws people out of your car, so don't do it kids! There were lots of gushers and pizza and hot pockets and merriment for everybody who was there teasing/comforting her. That whole event really messed with my sleep schedule, but I ended up getting more sleep than usual, so that turned out alright in the end. Just, going to bed at about 1:30 in the morning is weird for me, haha. Get well soon and stuff.

After I came back home yesterday, my circadian rhythm still quite unbalanced, I slept in until about 12:30pm. Even though I had woken up around 8, I was unable to maintain consciousness and quickly passed the heck out again. Whoo! Went to bed on time that night to make sure I'd be awake in the morning for work, haha. But I was in for a surprise later....

"We were so slow at work this morning that they let me go home early. Eager to have almost the entire day to do whatever I wanted, I sat on the couch to watch the History Channel and quickly fell back asleep again. You see, the thing is, even though I was only awake for about 10 hours yesterday, my body is stupid. So again I was asleep from about 1:30 this afternoon until 8:00 tonight

Here's to me getting to sleep on time.... like about now would be nice?

Sky is Falling~

Guess which moron crashed which car.

Aaaaaaand yea. I probably should have seen it coming, and I probably shouldn't have always let Justin drive my car whenever he wanted to, but I always want to help people out and since I basically haven't left my house much recently, I didn't think much of it.

But it was raining, and Justin takes backroads so he can go fast, and he's a speed demon 100% of the time he drives to begin with.

The official story seems to unravel thusly: Justin picked up his friend C.J. from down the road, they came back here for a minute or two so Justin could finish some house stuff he was supposed to do, then they went off. Headed to Lauren to where C.J.'s girlfriend lives apparently. (This is the only place they ever seem to go. We discovered yesterday that C.J. had been grounded for 2 months, so every trip they took in my car was illegitimate it seems.) Justin's driving, and he decides to turn off the highway to take backroads. It's been raining off and on all day. Justin didn't make it more than 10 minutes from the house before we get a call from an unknown number. Somebody stopped by Justin and C.J. and Justin used their phone to call my mom. We learn here that Justin was driving around a turn too fast, and the car spun (Maybe he was trying to drift?), the momentum made the car fall on it's side, and upside down, and on the other side, and it kept going. (According to the police the car flipped a total of four times total.) But nobody is hurt and there were no other cars involved, Justin and C.J. are just walking around.

So mom is flipping out of course because she frequently flips out, and even pulled the line "Are you coming Andrew? I'm not waiting for you! Grab your shoes and hurry up!", and soon we're on our way. When we get to the intersection of Long Neck and 24, sirens are heard, and a firetruck goes speeding by. I'll give you two guesses where they're headed. Long story short, mom panics even more and attempts to follow behind the firetruck using the space left by cars that pulled over to let it by, didn't work, so she followed the truck on the shoulder instead. We get there and we find THIS:

We go to the hospital (They took them to Beebe to get checked out just to be sure) and they're both fine really, a few scrapes is all. Here's the kicker: at the hospital they found illegal Vicodin on Justin. Yea. Bloodwork comes back Friday and we'll find out if he was on Vicodin while he crashed. Either way, it was on him, so he was going to use it while he was out there and would have had it in his system when he drove my car back.

Justin won't be doing any driving for a very long time.

Err.... THINGS. YES. xD
Andrew Says.... This thing is broken. So I altered the code and now it's just going to say whatever I type in here from now on. I guess I can use it as a bulletin board.... Yay for screwing around with broken code? Sure, haha. xD

November 2, 2007:
Kay kay all, tomorrow at 6am, it's leaving time for the Xpo in Philly! I'm pretty much planning on NOT sleeping. Seeing as how that's got a better chance at having me awake when the time comes than sleeping does.
